Breast Lift

A breast lift is an operation aimed at lifting sagging and deformed breasts caused by various factors and bringing them to their ideal shape. The main causes of sagging breasts include sudden weight gain and loss, the increase and decrease of breast volume shortly after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or the effect of gravity on the breasts with age. For patients unsatisfied with the appearance of their breasts due to sagging, breast lift surgery is a very comfortable operation with a high satisfaction rate.

How is breast lift surgery performed?

Before the breast lift surgery, the patient is examined by Dr. Ahmet Dilber, and markings are made, which serve as the basis for the surgery. Breast lift surgery, also called mastopexy, which takes an average of 2 hours, is similar to breast reduction. However, the lift surgery mainly removes the excess skin tissue that causes breast sagging. The lift can also be achieved in patients with small breasts by placing a prosthesis under the breast. Breast lift surgery also addresses problems such as breast asymmetry and gives the patient an upright, youthful, and symmetrical breast appearance.

After the surgery, the patient is kept under observation in the hospital for one night. Dr. Ahmet Dilber performs all the examinations on the patient before and after the surgery. The patient can return to the hotel or home the next day after the surgery. The patient's monthly follow-up continues with in-person visits or through images shared during recovery.

Patients who are uncomfortable with their sagging and deformed breast structure due to various factors and who do not have a health problem that prevents surgery may prefer a breast lift.
